1The focus of the research (carried out in two levels: national and european) will be on specific issues related to the state of art of the social inclusion in primary education systems, focusing on the disadvantaged target groups (students and families of schools in disadvantaged areas, students with social/physical disabilities)in accordance with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
Particular attention will be given to the role of theachers, and to training methodologies and to their specific (professional and soft) skills and competnecies to be used in this framework.
The research phase of the project has the following general objectives:
- To identify needs of target groups (students, especially those at risk of exclusion, families and teachers)
- To have a clear map of the learning context and of the target contexts of the proposal. (in terms of best practices, methodologies, risks etc.)
- To have a common and shared starting point for the elaboration of the inclusive teaching methods.
